Who We Are and What We Do
Codinggrovev is a boutique real estate advisory operating from Nairobi's Riverside Drive since 2018. We serve individual buyers, landlords, corporate tenants, and private investors who are active across Nairobi's residential and commercial property market. Our work covers four areas: the sale of residential and commercial properties, lettings and rental management introductions, independent market valuations, and strategic consulting for clients evaluating land or development opportunities. We are a small, senior-led team — every client engagement is handled by an experienced advisor, not a junior coordinator. Since our founding, we have completed transactions across more than 120 properties in areas including Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Lavington, and Muthaiga. That volume of completed work gives our advisors genuine pattern recognition in a market where conditions vary street by street. Our amber-gold branded reports and warm-toned client environments are a deliberate reflection of Nairobi's equatorial light — a reminder that property here carries a character unlike anywhere else on the continent.
How We Work and What Clients Should Expect
Our process begins with a structured intake call or meeting where we listen before we advise. We ask about timelines, budget, preferred locations, and the factors that matter most — family schools, commute time, rental yield targets, or resale horizons. From that brief, your named advisor builds a shortlist and manages every subsequent step, including scheduling viewings, presenting offers, liaising with advocates, and co-ordinating the completion process. We operate Monday to Friday with Saturday morning availability for clients whose professional schedules do not permit weekday meetings. Clients should also be aware of what falls outside our scope: we do not manage properties on an ongoing facilities basis, provide legal opinions, arrange mortgage finance, or operate outside the greater Nairobi area. When a client's situation calls for specialist input beyond our service lines, we make a clear referral to trusted professionals rather than attempting work outside our competence. This honesty about boundaries is, in our view, the most durable form of professionalism a property advisory can offer.
Codinggrovev handled the sale of our Kileleshwa townhouse in 2022. What stood out was not the speed — though it sold in 47 days — but the fact that our advisor called us before we had to call him. That level of proactive communication is rare in this market.
